Sample weeks

Itineraries

Four ways a week can be shaped. None of these is tied to a specific yacht, and none is a promise that every stop will hold. The captain adjusts for weather.

7 Days in the Exumas

Exumas

This is a sample of how an Exumas week can unfold. Wind, tides, and the yacht's draft will move a day. It is not a route we operate.

  1. Day 1

    Nassau departure

Guests board after the flight. The first anchorage is close, so the week starts in the water, not on a long passage.

  2. Day 2

    Shroud Cay

A drift through the mangroves when the tide is right, then a sandbar swim.

  3. Day 3

    Warderick Wells

A mooring in the land and sea park, a short trail, and a quiet afternoon aboard.

  4. Day 4

    Cambridge Cay

Rocky cuts and snorkeling if the sea is settled.

  5. Day 5

    Staniel Cay

Fuel, a walk through the settlement, and the option of dinner ashore.

  6. Day 6

    A southern beach

One unscheduled swimming day before the boat turns back.

  7. Day 7

    Return toward Nassau

A morning swim, then the run timed to the departure flight.

7 Days in the BVI

British Virgin Islands

The BVI reward a slow week. This sample keeps each passage short. The captain will change a bay if the swell does.

  1. Day 1

    Tortola

Board in the afternoon and anchor nearby before dark.

  2. Day 2

    Virgin Gorda

The Baths in the morning, then a swim off the boat.

  3. Day 3

    A northern bay

Snorkeling and lunch on deck. No harbor schedule.

  4. Day 4

    Jost Van Dyke

A beach afternoon and an evening ashore if you want one.

  5. Day 5

    Norman Island

Caves by tender when the water is calm.

  6. Day 6

    Peter Island or Cooper Island

    A last quiet anchorage.

  7. Day 7

    Tortola

    Breakfast and disembark.

Plan this week

7 Days around St. Barts

St. Barts and St. Martin

St. Barts is a short crossing from St. Martin in settled weather. This sample leaves a harbor night and two beach days. It flexes if the trade winds build.

  1. Day 1

    St. Martin

Board and overnight in sheltered water near the start.

  2. Day 2

    Cross to St. Barts

A morning passage. Afternoon ashore or at anchor.

  3. Day 3

    St. Barts by tender

Beaches along the coast. Back aboard for lunch or dinner.

  4. Day 4

    A harbor evening

The night you might eat ashore. The boat stays the hotel.

  5. Day 5

    North toward Anguilla

A beach stop chosen for the wind that day.

  6. Day 6

    Back to St. Martin

A final swimming day near the airport island.

  7. Day 7

    Disembark

    Timed to the flight out.

Plan this week
Palm shadows on white sand, with a clear horizon and turquoise sea

7 Days in the Grenadines

Grenadines

This sample spends two days in the Tobago Cays and keeps the other stops light. Park rules and wind will shape the exact order.

  1. Day 1

    St. Vincent or Bequia

Board and make a short evening move.

  2. Day 2

    Bequia

A harbor morning, then a swim.

  3. Day 3

    Southbound

A passage day toward Canouan or Mustique, set by the forecast.

  4. Day 4

    Tobago Cays

Arrive among the reefs for a protected night.

  5. Day 5

    Tobago Cays

    Snorkeling and no schedule.

  6. Day 6

    Mayreau or Union

A small-island stop on the way back.

  7. Day 7

    Disembark

The end port follows the flights home.
