Plan my charter
Tell us the week.
Destination, dates, and who is coming. A private flight can be part of it, if you want one.
Hand-matched yachts and crews
We shortlist yachts for your group, your dates, and the waters you want.
One point of contact
A yacht specialist will be in touch within 10 minutes of your inquiry, then stays with you through the final day. A private flight can be part of that, if you want one.
No added cost to work with us
The yacht owner pays our commission. The rate already includes it. Every proposal still shows the full estimate: rate, APA, taxes we know, and gratuity.
Where
Coasts we plan often
These are starting points, not a limit. Name any shoreline on the form. Caribbean weeks run from Thanksgiving through Easter. Mediterranean charters run in the summer.
The yachts we represent
Four ways a week can look
These are categories in the network. Lazuli does not own the yachts, and we do not employ the crews. The proposal names the yacht that fits your group.
Catamaran
- Typical guests
- 6 to 10
- Typical crew
- Captain and chef, sometimes a mate
Families and friends who want space, a stable ride, and easy water access.
Motor Yacht
- Typical guests
- 6 to 12
- Typical crew
- Captain, chef, and deck crew
Groups that want to cover more water and keep a full schedule of bays.
Sailing Yacht
- Typical guests
- 4 to 8
- Typical crew
- Captain and chef, sometimes a mate
Guests who want the week to include actual sailing, not only motoring between bays.
Superyacht
- Typical guests
- 10 to 12, sometimes more
- Typical crew
- A full department crew: deck, interior, and galley
Celebrations and longer charters where privacy, toys, and service are the point.
How it works
Five steps, one specialist
01
Tell us about your trip
Destination, dates, guests, and the week you have in mind.
02
We hand-pick yachts and crews that fit
You see a short list from our network, with the layout and the total estimate.
03
You choose, and the central agent issues the contract
The yacht's central agent writes the charter contract. Payment goes to that agent's designated account, not to us.
04
We arrange the details, including a private jet if you want one
Provisioning, preferences, and, when you ask, a flight with a Part 135 operator.
05
You step aboard
The crew runs the week. We stay available if plans shift.
A sample week
7 Days in the Exumas
This is a sample of how an Exumas week can unfold. Wind, tides, and the yacht's draft will move a day. It is not a route we operate.
Day 1
Nassau departure
Day 2
Shroud Cay
Day 3
Warderick Wells
Day 4
Cambridge Cay
The numbers
The estimate shows the whole week
Every proposal lists the pieces below before anyone signs. The yacht owner pays our commission. The rate already includes it.
Base charter rate
The weekly rate for the yacht and its crew. The owner's commission to us is already inside that rate.
Advance Provisioning Allowance
APA covers fuel, food, dockage, and other running expenses. It is charged at cost. Unused APA is returned. If costs run over, the difference is settled with the central agent.
Taxes
Some ports and countries add tax. We list the ones we know in the estimate. The contract states what is due.
Crew gratuity
A gratuity for the crew is customary and separate from the rate. We include a suggested range in the all-in estimate. It is not a fee we keep.
Companion service
Fly private to the yacht
A private flight can put you aboard the same day, when the airport and the schedule allow it. Say yes on the form and we will include it in the plan.
Lazuli acts as an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. All flights are operated by FAA-certificated Part 135 direct air carriers that maintain full operational control of the aircraft. Broker disclosure
Clients
Client notes
Charleston
Everything was handled with real care. The questions were precise, the short list was considered, and we always knew who was taking the next step.
Palm Beach
The planning was exact and unhurried. One person kept the yacht and the flight in order, and nothing was left for us to chase.
Atlanta
It felt like a professional office, not a sales pitch. The proposal was complete, the timing was clear, and the follow-through held through the week.
Questions
Before you inquire
The yacht and a professional crew for the charter period, plus the equipment listed for that yacht. Meals, fuel, and dockage usually run through the APA, at cost. The proposal states what is included before you sign.
You see a base weekly rate, then an Advance Provisioning Allowance for fuel, food, dockage, and similar expenses. APA is not a second charter fee. It is spent at cost and reconciled at the end. We send an all-in estimate with every proposal so the pieces sit in one place.
No. The yacht owner pays our commission. Charter rates already include it. Using Lazuli does not add a fee on top of the rate.
We match the destination, dates, guest count, and budget to yachts whose central agents confirm availability. We ask about the crew's experience in those waters and with groups like yours. We do not employ the crew and we do not operate the yacht.
The yacht's central agent issues the charter contract. Client payments go to the central agent's designated account, not to Lazuli.
Deposits and cancellation terms come from the central agent's contract and are stated before you sign.
Caribbean high season runs from Thanksgiving through Easter. Summer weeks are quieter and fall inside hurricane season, which belongs in the planning conversation. The Mediterranean season is mainly May through October.
Yes, on yachts set up for a family. Tell us ages. We will ask about cabin layout, shade, and whether the toy list suits them. We do not confirm a yacht until the central agent accepts the group.
It depends on the yacht. Many carry a tender and some mix of floats, boards, and snorkeling gear. The inventory is in the proposal. We do not promise a toy the yacht does not list.
Yes. We can request a private flight through FAA-certificated Part 135 operators. Lazuli is the broker for that flight, not the operator. The operating carrier is named before you book. The flight quote shows the total cost, including taxes and fees we know at the time.
A yacht specialist will be in touch within 10 minutes of a complete inquiry during business hours. Yacht options follow as central agents reply. Timing depends on the dates and the destination.
We confirm that the operator holds an FAA Part 135 certificate and that insurance is in force for the flight.
